Just Human
Just Human is a Danish NGO, founded in 2015 by Chris MacDonald. Just Human’s mission is to inspire young people and their role models to take care of themselves and each other.

About Chris MacDonald
Chris MacDonald, born in 1973 in Minnesota, USA, and raised in Seattle, has lived in Denmark since 1999 and is now a leading authority on mental and physical health, motivation, and resilience. With a degree in human physiology and a background as an elite athlete, Chris has dedicated his professional life to helping others achieve better health and well-being.
Chris has notably ranked second in the 5000 km long Race Across America in 2005 and was a former rower on the U.S. national team. In addition to his athletic achievements, he works closely with TrygFonden’s Center for Active Health at Rigshospitalet on a large research project that examines how lifestyle changes can be used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes – with the goal of completely or partially reducing the need for medication.
